Sales and marketing employees of international travel agents and tour operators, airlines, transport companies and online travel portals offering trips to Vienna.

Employees of hotels in Vienna, whether working in reception, sales, reservations or marketing, as well as employees of Viennese tour operators and conference organisers have their own club, the Vienna Experts Club.

Yes, you can register to the Vienna Expert Club International.

If you are not working in the travel industry, but as a travel journalist or blogger, you cannot become a member of the VECI. In this case, please contact our colleagues in International Media Relations.

Register online and submit your details. Your registration will be checked and activated by the Club office. Please understand that this process can take a little time. Once your membership is activated, you will receive an email welcoming you to the Club.

Yes, members of the Vienna Expert International Club receive a personal Club card at our Tourist Info outlets to use when claiming discounts during visits to Vienna. The card is valid during your stay in Vienna, and for a maximum of 7 days from date of validation. You do not need a Club card to prove membership itself.

Membership is for free.

There are currently no mandatory trainings for members of the Vienna Experts Club International. You can find all the information you need to expand your knowledge of Vienna in our Vienna tips, as well as on the B2B website of the Vienna Tourist Board.

As a member, you enjoy numerous benefits: you receive a monthly newsletter with information on the latest tourist offers and regular competitions. On your own trip to Vienna, you benefit from exclusive offers and attractive conditions in Viennese hotels.

Please note that Club concessions including free Vienna City Cards may only be claimed once per calendar year. There must be a period of at least 14 days between each visit. The special offers will only be made available to preregistered members.

Yes, provided that the change is within the tourism industry. Please inform the VECI team of any changes to your job description or address or make changes directly to your profile. Your membership will be cancelled automatically if you leave the tourism industry. In this case you will no longer have access to Club offers.
